1. General Competitive Examinations
Many of the students, after completing matriculation or intermediate classes and even after graduation join their parents profession, which, mostly, doesn’t suit to their qualification though lacs of vacancies are filled up in government and Public sector Units through various competition examinations. This is mainly because of ignorance about the job opportunities available to them. To attain success in getting job a proper planning, firm determination and perspiring preparation is needed. The Foundation selected 13 students in the year 2014 and 20 students in the year 2015 through written test for providing them free coaching, career guidance, counseling, free study material, value education and personality development.
2. Free Coaching Class
A free coaching classes for Class VIII to Class X is being run for the poor And weaker section students at Imadpur Middle School in Bihar Sharif since 2013. More than 80 students are studying at this centre. Three teachers are engaged for the job. The coaching centre is fully financed and managed by Peace Foundation.
3. Tapping Government Resources
A good number of government schemes fail to reach or utilised by the actual deserving citizens. The Foundation organised public programs to educate the needy and social activists on such schemes. The foundation also distributed literatures viz., Sachar Report ki Sifarishen, “A guide to Uplift Minorities” to the social activists. Besides, a number of divorced women were assisted in opening S.B. accounts, filling up forms etc., for ‘Mukhyamantri Alpsankhayak divorced women yojana’
4. Felicitation Program
To felicitate top rankers among boys and girls with cash award and/or merit certificate to the students passed in Class – X/extra curricular activities from Minority managed government schools/Centres a cash prize of Rs. 500/- each to two boys and two girls separately were given at the functions organised by Bihar Anjuman, Hajipur & Patna Centre and Shanti Sandesh Kendra, Patna.
